General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Community Events - Cost Participation ​
1. Scope The following General Terms and Conditions govern participation in community events where participants are responsible for covering all costs themselves. By registering for such an event, participants acknowledge these GTC. ​
2. Registration and Participation Fee 2.1. Registration for a Community Event is completed by filling out the official registration form provided on the event page or through other means.
2.2. By registering, participants commit to covering all costs associated with the event, including but not limited to transportation, meals, accommodation, and admission fees.
2.3. The participation fee for the event will be stated on the event page or in the event description. Payment of the participation fee shall be made according to the instructions provided there. 3. Payment Terms
3.1. The participation fee is to be paid prior to the event according to the payment terms indicated on the event page.
3.2. In the case of non-payment of the participation fee, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the participation of the registered participant.
4. Cancellation and Refund
4.1. Cancellations by participants must be made in writing via email to the organizer. Cancellation terms can be reviewed on the event page or in the event description.
4.2. No refund of the participation fee will be provided for cancellations, unless the event is canceled or significantly postponed by the organizer. In such cases, the participation fee will be refunded, but the organizer does not assume responsibility for any additional costs that participants might have incurred.
5. Disclaimer of Liability
5.1. Participants attend the event at their own risk and acknowledge that the organizer assumes no liability for injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during the event.
5.2. Participants are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage for their participation in the event, including health insurance and travel cancellation insurance.
6. Changes to the Program The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event program, dates, venues, or other details. Participants will be informed in a timely manner about significant changes.
7. Data Privacy The organizer's privacy policy is available on the website and governs the collection, processing, and use of participants' personal data.
8. Final Provisions If individual provisions of these GTC are or become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Place of performance and jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law, shall be at the organizer's registered office.
